adaption of dracula story by murnau. with this film he got himself into a long legal quarrel with the owners of the rights to the Dracula story.
for sale here is a short US version of the film. it runs approx. 30min at silent speed.

a george melies type early trick film. this film unites almost all special effects known at the time. a great example of early cinema magic!
an astronomer travels in his dreams to the stars where he meets a tribe of extraterrestrials who chase him back to earth.
good condition, color, hand colored in orange and tinted in red (the color is fading to red, so everything is quite red...), no soundtrack, no intertitles, about 60m, EURO 80
